Welcome back guys to my yet another blog. Hope you all had a safe and happy week. Today I am going to give a review on Plum Olive & Macadamia healthy hydration shampoo.
Plum goodness is India’s first 100% vegan beauty brand. It has a range of skin care, hair care and beauty products.
I had actually gone to the store looking for Wow Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo but it was out of stock so I ended up buying Plum Shampoo as it was silicones, sulphates and alcohol free. And what can I say, I ended up liking it a lot. One thing I liked about this brand is that they’re packaging is recyclable. You can send the empty bottles back to them, and they will reward you with Rs. 50 in shopping credits in their website. This is a great way to encourage people to recycle their bottles.
Price: I got my shampoo from a store near me for Rs. 550 for 300 ml. It is available online. To get this product click on https://ekaro.in/enkr2020101648316237
Packaging: The product comes in a 300 ml white coloured bottle with a press on cap. As the press-on cap does not have a lock or stopper, it is not quite travel friendly.
Key Ingredients: Olive fruit oil, macadamia seed oil, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydrolyzed soy protein, hydrolyzed corn protein, citric acid.
The cleansing and foaming agents used are cocamidopropyl betaine, Sodium cocoyl glycinate, Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate. They are all derived from plants.
Product Claims: This formula is meant for nourishing dry, damaged and chemically treated hair. The shampoo claims to condition, strengthen, add shine and repair damaged hair. It also protects hair from UV damage.
Note: If you are used to using sulphates and silicones in your hair product, it could take a few uses with sulphate and silicone free formulas for your hair to get used to this new regime.
I have been using this for some time now and have almost reached to the end of the bottle. This is a mild shampoo so it does not dry out my hair. My hair feels soft and shiny after using this shampoo. As it is a mild shampoo, I need to use extra product to wash off excess oil on the days I oil my hair. The smell is also quite pleasant. This shampoo is great for chemically treated hair due to its restorative and gentle properties.
- Gentle on hair
- Sulphates, silicones, alcohol, zinc, parabens and phthalates free
- 100% vegan and only plant derived ingredients used
- Repairs damaged hair and adds shine
- Hydrating and controls frizz
- CG friendly
- May not be suitable for those with oily hair
It is a great product and I would definitely recommend it.
That’s the end of this review. It is a good shampoo and a great brand promoting using non-toxic and plant derived ingredients at a reasonable price. With every purchase, 1% goes to the planet as well. Which is GREAT! To buy this product https://ekaro.in/enkr2020101648316237
